Tom and I were so honored to have had the opportunity to get to know and love you Grandma Bev. You always had a smile on your face and the kindest words. You touched the hearts of all who were lucky enough to be in your presence. May you rest peacefully in paradise.

Growing up two blocks away we all knew each other and we were one big nexus of families who were entwined with each other and I just LOVED coming to the Donahue house and the neighborhood because everyone knew everyone and it was so awesome! As we got older Mark and I did some plays together at the Community Center and Beverly made us taquitos and they were so good! I am so sorry Donahue kids ... you had one of the BEST Moms! Until we meet again Mrs. Donahue!!

When I was a pre teen Beverly asked me to babysit. I lived directly across the street. I loved it. I loved cleaning the house to surprise her. It made me so happy to see the expressions on her face when I did her dishes and have everything clean and tidy when she got home. I use to dream how it would be to have a family like these children and a house to take care of. I looked forward to going places with her. We went to Knotts Berry Farm and Beverly had this black wig, she let me wear it I thought it was so cool. She was so relaxed and fun to talk to and I thought she had such a beautiful smile to go with her sweet personality. Everyone on Carfax enjoyed visiting with Beverly and watching those cute little Donahue kids . She was like a mother Duckling and all her baby chicks. I have so many speacial memories as a young teen. I'm so sad and I send the Donahue family my condolences love and hugs.

I’m so sorry to hear of Bev’s passing. I’m praying for peace and comfort for all of her kids (including Carfax neighbor kids) and all of her family and friends. It’s hard to lose someone so dear, and my heart goes out to all of you.
