Amy Louise Sebelius, age 47, passed away on November 24, 2018. She was born on April 17, 1971 in Red Bank, New Jersey to Edward and Jean Sebelius.
She graduated from Liberty Christian School, L.A Theater Academy, Long Beach State University, and received her Master of Fine Arts from the Alabama Shakespeare Festival.
For many years she was involved with the Children's Theater of Orange County, she worked at Disneyland and also was involved in many local theater groups. She was proud to belong to both SAG/AFTRA and Equity. She was the director of the drama department at Lakewood High School. There she passed on her love and passion of acting to her students. Amy was a founding board member of the Garage Theater in Long Beach.
She leaves behind her mother, Jeannie Sebelius, her brother Stephen (Eryn) Sebelius, her aunt Pansy Sojka of Florida and her uncles William Mino of Port Jervis, New York and Peter Sebelius of Chelmsford, MA. She leaves many cousins; among them Katie Sojka and Debbie Crews. She is predeceased by her father Edward J. Sebelius in 2015.
The family is eternally grateful to the many many friends that kepy a bedside vigil for the last four weeks, especially Heidi Crevier.
AMY LOVED LIFE AND ALWAYS LIVED IT HER WAY. Goodbye sweet Angel.
