Thank you Bernard for making work more of a challenge than a chore. Your talents will be missed, but not forgotten!

Your friend,

It's always hard to let go.... but I let Bernard go to our Heavenly Father ,for Bernard is in a better place and is in better spirits,I will always remember it didn't take much for me to make my best friend laugh and laugh! I still hear his laughter. I always enjoyed Bernard's friendship all through the years from when we were in our early teens to our adult lives, I remember countless things we did together, sometimes they were not the best choices we made ,but damn did we have fun!
Bernard was always a dreamer dreaming big I admired him for that! I was excited when he told me he was in "A Officer and a gentleman " I have watched that movie so many times to see my buddy in his acting part, I thought it was awesome and soon enough he would make it big in show business I thought !
Bernard loved his family so much , he was raised to be respectful and how to treat people right! Bernard was good people,if he had to give the shirt off his back for you he would he was loyal who were loyal to him.
Bernard was very much into his work and his craft ! When we would talk late or even early evening he was at work and boy did he love what he did for a living!
He talked often about his daughter Samantha who I know he will greatly miss along with his wife Deneille, who he would put on a pedestal!
Bernard will be greatly missed by myself, I Love you my brother this is not the end but a new beginning a new adventure I will see you my brother when our path meet again, but for now I will say see you later bro knowing that I will!
My heart is broken but will mend in time knowing you are in that far better place and will guide your love ones back to you ! Brother I have stopped feeling sad and mad ,I have turned it into happiness to see all the lives you have touched as you have touched in my life!
I have great memories that I will cherish so rest my friend in peace and know that you are loved by so many❤️❤️

I never met you Bernard, but Brenda bragged on you so I felt I did!! Reading your obituary I now know where Erika got her zest for life! Thank you for providing your family with great memories! My prayer for you: May you trip to the other side be swift in the arms of your Angel, May your passed loved ones be there to greet you, May your loved ones still on Earth find joy in your memory. I lit a blue candle to match your shirt!

This poem has always brought me peace, I hope it helps you and all the family.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Rest in Peace my Dear Friend, Bernie!

I can't be with you in person but I'm with you in Spirit, holding your hand and giving you big hugs.
