Robert Michael Lane

Bob Lane passed away on April 24th at Hoag Memorial Hospital from a pulmonary embolism following a bout of pneumonia. He was born in Brockton, Massachusetts and moved to California to attend USC Graduate School in Pharmacy. For most of his career Bob was part owner of Medical Towers Pharmacy in Huntington Beach and continued to work part time with the subsequent owners there until he completely retired around his 80th birthday. Bob loved his family, friends, golf, dancing, tending his yard, caring for his newest grandchild during the work week, and especially singing! He was constantly singing his old favorites as well as entertaining limericks! He is survived by his wife, Shirley; his children Father James Lane, Joseph Lane and Kelly Mount; his step-children Nick Deutsch and Jennifer Edwards; his grandchildren, Christopher Lane, Megan Mount, Adam Mount, Isaac Ryan, Lola Ryan and Tommie Edwards; and his sisters, Dorthy LaMark and Mary Lane. His son Daniel preceded him in death.
