Carl L Munson

Carl L Munson was born in Detroit Michigan, his Mother Dorothy died in child birth, his Father blaming him for his Mother's death did not want to keep him. Dorothy's older sister Anna and her husband Conrad Teschke took him and raised him. They were always his loving Mom and Dad. Anna passed when Carl was 15.
Carl was raised in Bonduel, Wisconsin, he attended St. Paul's Lutheran School and Graduated from Bonduel High School. Upon Graduation he joined the United States Marine Corps. He played trombone in the band, and was stationed in Iwakuni, Japan and then 29 Palms, California. In 1961 he was chosen to march in the Marine Corps Band at the Rose Parade. He served in the Marine Corps from 1958-1962.
After his discharge from the Marine Corps, Carl stayed in California and started working in the banking industry, but his love for cars soon took him to the automotive industry, where he was a used vehicle inventory controller. He spent more than 40 years as an inventory controller, 30 of those years were at the same dealership. He loved what he did, so he never considered it to be work.
Carl and his wife Linda were married for 55 years. They raised two beautiful children Laura Ann and Mark David Munson. Mark preceded his father in death in 1991. Laura and her husband Douglas L Pierre gave Carl and Linda two beautiful and loving Granddaughters, Cammi Ann Pierre and Marki Ann Pierre,,.
Carl also loved to go boating, motorhoming, snow and water skiing with his family and friends. His brother in law Win Orton and wife Mary were always included, Win always loved to tease him about how meticulous he was about things. Carl was sometimes known as "Mr. Clean"
Carl was a people person he will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
