Charles "Charley" Leestma

Born September 6, 1966 at Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church, VA.  He enlisted in the Navy and served our country for 6 years during the Gulf War. He received specialized training from the Navy went on to graduate from Devry University with honors as Electronic Engineer.  He met his wife Michele and married August 1998.  He leaves behind two children Brooke and Sawyer whom he adored.

Charley had a great sense of humor like no one in the family and we loved that about him.  He was an avid Redskin Fan and shared his enthusiasm with many hoping for Super Bowl one day.  Charley enjoyed fantasy football and would get others in family namely his brother Chad and nephew Grant to play on his team. 

It is with great sadness that Charley leaves behind his two brothers Chad and Ryan and his parents Peggy and William who will miss him more than words can say. He will be buried at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego.  A Memorial Service will be held July 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church in Huntington Beach, CA.
