Beloved brother and uncle, Cosmo L. Innamorato, 71, of Santa Ana, California, passed away on May 5, 2021.
Cosmo was raised in Raritan, N.J., by his loving parents Cosimo And Mary (Pastore) Innamorato. He attended Newark College of Engineering following his 1967 graduation from Bridgewater-Raritan High School. Upon moving to California, Cosmo worked as a plant engineer for Rock Industries and later in life worked at Saturn and CarMax.
Cosmo was an avid fan of baseball, was a car enthusiast and golfer, and enjoyed home projects. He enjoyed being with family and friends and driving his Saturn Sky.
He is survived by his sister, Michele Gargiulo and husband Francis; nephew Keith Gargiulo and wife JoAnn; niece Michele Karam and husband Jeff; nieces Megan Gargiulo and Paige Karam; nephews Mason Gargiulo and Connor Karam; uncle Emilio Innamorato and many cousins. Cosmo is predeceased by his beloved parents and aunts, uncles, cousins of Innamorato, Pastore, Zagari, Riga, and Giaquinto families.
The family extends their gratitude and respect to Cosmo’s dearest friends Allen and Catarina Dran, as well as to Cosmo’s doctors, nurses, and hospice staff at Hoag Hospital, Newport Beach, California.
There will be memorial services at the Heritage-Dilday Funeral Home in Huntington Beach, California, and also at Bongiovi Funeral Home in Raritan, New Jersey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice or to PanMass Challenge (https://donate.pmc.org/DP0001), which Jeff, Paige, and Connor have participated, where 100% of donations are used for cancer research.
