Edward Walker Ginn, 89, passed away peacefully with his wife at his side in the family home in Westminster, California on March 15, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ginn, their three children, Steven Ginn, David Ginn, and Christine Boskovich, and three grandchildren, Brianna Ginn, Nicholas Boskovich, and Jessica Boskovich.
Edward was born to the late Edward Walker Ginn Sr. and Pearl Louise Ginn in Beaufort, South Carolina on January 31, 1931. He served in the U.S. Army for a brief time before marrying his lovely wife Barbara in 1957. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Florida and his Master’s degree in Space Technology from the Florida Institute of Technology. He had a successful 37-year career at Mcdonnell Douglas/Boeing where he worked on projects including the DA-167, Titan II, Titan IV, and EELV/Delta IV space programs.
He was a wonderful father and grandfather who enjoyed fishing, gardening, sports (especially the Florida Gators!), and serving St. Bonaventure Catholic Church as an usher. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
The funeral service is to be held at a later date and this page will be updated with that information as soon as it is available.
