Gloria Marie Martin

Gloria Marie Martin, 86 of Huntington Beach CA passed away on February 25, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones. Gloria was born in Detroit, MI. She went on to earn an associate of arts degree from Goldenwest College in 1981. She fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a registered nurse and worked for over 15 years at the V.A hospital in Long Beach, CA. Gloria was fun and adventurous and loved to travel. She was a HUGE sports fan and always watched her NFL football and NHL hockey. Gloria was extremely proud of her many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was always their number one fan. As a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Parish for over 37 years, Gloria served in many capacities, including singing in the choir, serving communion, sponsoring, and the St. Joseph Mission Circle. Gloria is survived by a large loving extended family. Funeral service will be held on March 8, 2019 at St Bonaventure Catholic church with a viewing at 11 a.m , followed by a rosary at 11:30 and a funeral mass at 12pm.
