Harold Eugene Jackson
Harold Eugene Jackson, 91, of Westminster, CA, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2021 after a long and well lived life.
Harold, “Jack” to most, was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 22, 1930. He served in the United States Coast Guard during the Korean War (1949-1953). After completing his service, he eloped with the love of his life, Betty Ellen (Brutsche) in 1955 and moved to West Covina, California where they raised their three sons.
Harold was a loving family man who enjoyed coaching his sons in Pop Warner Football and passed on his passion for all sports. Harold founded a construction company in the 1960’s, Jackson Marlite. The boys learned the trade from their father and the value of a hard days work. They each went on to start their own FRP companies.
Harold stayed active throughout his life. He was an avid golfer and played until he was 89. He even “shot his age” at 87! Harold was a member of the Men’s Club at Royal Vista Golf Course and Costa Mesa Country Club for over 50 years, and was also a former member of the Los Alamitos Yacht Club.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty; his three sons, Michael (Vicki), Randall (Charlene), and Timothy (Hue); and his five granddaughters, Rylee, Caylin, Georgiana, Kiana and Kyla.
Services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on December 27 at 10:30AM.
