Heinz also loved nature and animals. Proudly, he grew plums, oranges, apples, avocados, nectarines, and other fruits and vegetables, in addition to all kinds of plants & flowers. Throughout his life, he had many pets, including dogs (mainly German Shepards), fish, chickens, and his beloved racing pigeons.
