Jimmy Dale Huff, 76, resident of Fountain Valley, CA. went to be with our LORD on November 28th 2020. He had Covid, a horrible virus. He fought it for 22 days in an induced coma before he succumbed.
He was born in a hospital in Norton, Kansas December 2, 1943. He spent his early childhood on several farms in Kansas and Nebraska. In 1951 the family moved to California. He graduated from Covina High School and went on to Pasadena City College.
He enlisted in the Navy May 25, 1966, after negotiating with them for the schooling he wished for submarine service in the nuclear field. He went to several states and several schools until he qualified as a Nuclear Reactor operator. He was an instructor at Pocatello, Idaho, when he met his wife Patricia ( Patti) May Stover.
After his term in Hawaii, they returned to Oregon with Jimmy back to college to get his degree in chemical engineering. The first baby girl, Charlene Jeanette. Then the move to Vallejo with an oil company and baby girl #2, Natalie Catherine.
When the oil company failed…back to IBM school he went. Then retirement where he spent much of his time traveling with his wife Patti all over the United States in their RV or Airstream.
He is survived by his wife Patricia (Patti) Huff, married for 52 yrs, daughters Charlene (John), Natalie (Scott). Grandchildren Justin (Kaitlinn), Cameron, Jacob, Christopher, and Eddie. Siblings Charlene Barnes & Judy McAbee as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
He has left a hole in our hearts.
