We regret to announce the passing of Jose "Pepe" Rivas, Jr., 68, of Huntington Beach, on September 20, 2022. Pepe passed away surrounded by his loved ones. Pepe was predeceased by his parent's Jose Narciso Rivas, Sr.  and Leonila Concepcion (Concha) Rivas Chineo, and his father-in-law Sergio Martinez.  Pepe lived a full and warm life, filled with joy, happiness and kindness. Pepe was bigger than life. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. He is survived by his wife Sergia (Cary) Rivas, his daughter Kristina Marcus (Adam), his son Alejandro Rivas (Teea Kahkonen), his brother Sergio Rivas (Rhonda), his sister Rosa Rivas (Richard Sochocki), his niece Lauren Adams (Ryan), his nephew Sean Martinez (Kelsey), his great nephew's Hunter, Timothy and Mason and his great niece Madelyn. Pepe is also survived by his beloved mother-in-law Roberta Martinez, fifteen nieces and nephews and twenty nine great nieces and nephews from his wife Cary's family and an abundance of friends.
