Our Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother Lois Ann Haberman, age 82, passed away on June 4, 2022 in Fountain Valley, CA.
Lois was born on October 30th, 1939, in Le Mars, Iowa. The daughter of Joseph M. Lucey and Alice Viola (Greenwood) Lucey. Lois graduated from Galen Catholic High School in Le Mars, Iowa. She also graduated from Nursing School in Sioux City, Iowa. She married Terrance Lee Haberman on January 30th, 1963, who was her Galen High School classmate. They were married for over 59 years. They moved to the Quad Cities, in Illinois where they raised their 6 children. They relocated to Southern California in 1987. Lois Ann is survived by her husband, Terry Haberman, 6 children: Stacey, Alicia, Damian, Doric, Dominic, & Barry. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren: Zachary, Jasmine, Austin, J.P., Electra, Jet, and 2 great-grandchildren: Landon and Gracie.
Lois was a teacher, housewife, nurse, and animal caretaker. She was a member of Holy Spirit Church, a volunteer for over 20 years for animal rescue groups, and a volunteer at her grandchildren's schools. She loved all animals, especially cats and dogs; she helped foster cats and kittens for many years. She loved all sports and never missed any games of her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. Lois loved and was immensely proud of her family, creating so many beautiful memories. She was affectionately know as Saint Lois and will always be remembered and forever loved!
Visitation will be 11:00 am- 1:00pm, Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Heritage Dilday Memorial Services, 17911 Beach Blvd., Huntington Beach, CA 92647.
A Christian burial mass will be held at, 2:00p.m at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 17270 Ward St., Fountain Valley, CA 92708.
Immediately following mass, the family of Lois Haberman invites you to join us to honor and celebrate Lois's life from 3:30pm-5:30pm at Silky Sullivan's, 10201 Slater Ave., Fountain Valley, CA 92708.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made can to the Alzheimer's Association, or the Humane Society.
