I feel you with my when I am controversy with my world. Helping me through to see and experience life as God intended. You are so very missed Mom. And there is not a day that goes by that you are thought of and a smile comes across my face when doing so.
Thank you for the many thousands of times you were there for me. I do not know how I would have made it through without you. You give me courage to keep striving for a better life, a stronger person and to understand this world we are living in today. One thing I always think of is WWMD? ( What Would Marillyn Do?) And I see your reaction And I tend to agree and follow suit. Not always easy but I make it through these difficult times in this life knowing you're right beside me. I love you with all my heart and soul.

Marilyn, I was your next-door neighbor from 1974-1978 and was best friends with your son, Wayne (RIP). He and I shared "the love of the game" (Baseball) and we dreamed of going to the major leagues together. Your husband, Don was so kind to me and helped me with my car. He and I shared the love of Aviation, as he was an Air Traffic Controller and I grew up to be an Airline Captain. You were always happy with a smile on your face. I remember you like it was yesterday. Then came Facebook! We were great friends online and you loved to debate politics! I still have our written conversations to remember you. I even came for a personal visit to see you and Don one day, and that's when I met Hannah. I'm so glad I was able to see you and Don again, one more time. Rest easy with Don & Wayne on the other side. You all are missed very much.

Kevin,
Very heartfelt appreciation that my dad was an influence on you and shared his love of aviation that you took to heart. I always thought I would have my pilot license before my drivers license… But skating left no money for that! Thank you for being a friend to my parents and my mom on Facebook she enjoyed your conversations. I wish you the best, always.

We knew you lovingly as Grandma Grumpy, but we never experienced the Grumpy part! It was a huge honour to have met you and my condolences are with the family. They do of course have so much that will never leave - warm memories live forever.

Our very best wishes to the whole family, Paul and Julz Potts

Thank you Paul, we played your beautiful music during her celebration yesterday.
It set a tone that was so captivating it became magical.

Marilyn was clearly a special woman in all aspects of her life. I knew only a small facet, her online life, but there too she made her mark on a large international community. She was witty, intelligent, sometimes fiesty, and always caring to her friends. She will be greatly missed.

Marilyn,
You displayed such a self less Love on a daily bases. Raising 3 Grandchildren as your own kids. Doing whatever it took to ensure them a good life. They never wanted for much. Football, Swimming, Club Soccer, the list is long. The reward 3 AMAZING Adults!
Your positive attitude always made me smile. No matter you would have a smile and a giggle. Even a few days before God took you home you shared " I'm so Lucky I have Bob helping me so much. Only have to take a pill and no Chemo just some radiation!"
I will miss you Marilyn. We will watch over the boys and Hannah.
Rest easy now Gods got you, good and faithful servant.

Til we meet again,
❤ Laurie, Perry & Lindsay Fisser

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We were so sad to hear the news. We have such lovely memories of all those years watching the girls play soccer with Marilyn on the sidelines . She was an amazing woman.

Marilyn will always be a part of my family’s memories. Her kindness and loving actions will be greatly missed. She welcomed my daughter Deirdre in to her life and home with open arms. Marilyn gave each of the girls (Hannah’s friends) a little piece of her heart that the girls will carry with them. I am greatful to for love and kindness. She will be greatly missed.
