Mary Eileen Tripoli

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away at her Huntington Beach home after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by prayer and loved ones.

Born and raised in San Pedro.  She attended Holy Trinity and Mary Star High School graduating in 1969. After raising her four children she established her own business and became an accomplished interior decorator.

Predeceased by her parents Frank and Eileen Sundstedt, brother Richard and sister Teri. Survived by her husband David, sons Michael, John David (Stefanie), Philip(Jeneane), daughter Nicole, and 5 grandchildren; brothers Frank(Janet), Mark(Cheryle), Michael(Susanne); sisters Joanne (Paul)Breen, Lisa (Steve) Zar, and brother-in-law Rick Carpentier; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

The Rosary will be recited on Wed. Feb 28th @ 6pm. A traditional Latin requiem mass will be offered on Thurs. Mar 1st @10am at St. Mary's by the Sea Catholic Church  321 10th St. Huntington Beach.  Burial to follow at Good Shepard Cemetery.
