Rev Richard Charles Kennedy

Father Richard C. Kennedy was ordained on May 26, 1973.

He served the parishioners of St. Bonaventure as his first appointment

as a Parochial Vicar from 1973 to 1978.  He served the people of the Diocese of Orange well, first as an Associate Priest at St. Barbara Church in Santa Ana, then as Diocesan Vocation Director.  He was a Pastor of St.     Mary Church in Fullerton from 1983 to 1995 and as a Pastor of St.  Barbara Church in Santa Ana from 1996 to 2013, and finally as a

Senior Priest at St. Bonaventure Church from 2013 to 2017

Fr. Kennedy retired from active ministry on July 1, 2017 and passed into eternal life on Thursday, October 31, 2019.
