Rodolfo Ramirez

It is with great sorrow that the Ramirez family announces the passing of Rodolfo “Rudy” Ramirez. Rudy went home to be with Jesus on December 11, 2021. Rudy was born on January 19, 1944 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic School where he was an altar boy. Rudy played high school football at Roy Miller HS in Corpus Christi, TX and continued to play football at Ranger College and Texas Western in TX. He married the love of his life in El Paso, TX on August 28, 1965. With his new bride they moved to Santa Ana, California where he worked and became a pillar of the community as a Junior All-American and Pop Warner football coach. Rudy is preceded in death by his mother, Petra O. Ramirez and his father, Juan Ramirez. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bertha Ramirez. Son Jesse Ramirez (Deirdre) and daughters, Veronica Hall, Helen Bonaddio (Chris) and Marina Juarez (David). Grand children Ryan, Jesse II, Samantha, Rudy, Nicholas, Gianna and four great grandchildren. Viewing and Rosary will be on Monday 20 December, 2021 at Heritage-Dilday Memorial Service from 4:00PM – 8:00PM. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday 22 December, 2021 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 10:30AM. Eternal Interment will be at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Huntington Beach immediately following funeral mass.
