Rudy (Rodolfo) Florentino Patino, 80 of Huntington Beach, CA went to be with our Lord December 26, 2018 at 7:04 am

Rudy is survived by his wife of 59 years Margaret, his daughters Rosalie Rodriguez and Lydia Patino, grandchildren Anna, Angela, Luis Jr. and Mark, great-grandchildren Danny, Nigel, Kiana, Abby, Zion, Julian, Eva and His siblings Eugenia (Kenny) Porras, Margaret Pate, Esther Mason and Carmen (Tunsie) Osuna and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Rudy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to everyone.

He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Carmen Patino, siblings Ernesto Patino, Richard Patino, Albert Patino and Lydia (Delia) Puente.

Rudy was born October 3, 1938 in Guadalajara, Mexico while the family was on vacation. He was raised in Wilmington, CA working at the family panaderia (bakery) La Vida. Rudy met Margaret at Banning High School. The high school sweethearts were married on July 4, 1959. Rudy moved his family to Huntington Beach, Ca in 1964 where he purchased his first and only home and lived the rest of his life. Rudy opened the doors of his home to all. Rudy worked as a wholesale produce salesman for 40 years. Rudy loved his job because he loved people, loved to talk and he loved to eat. Rudy loved music and playing his guitar. He loved the Blues, Oldies and especially his Rancheras.

Rudy has left a legacy of love… his love of music and most of all his love of family.

Visitation will be Thursday January 3, 2019 from 5:00 pm – 9:00pm with the Rosary at 7:00pm at Dilday Chapel 17911 Beach Blvd Huntington Beach 92647

 Funeral Mass will be Friday January 4, 2019 at 10:30am at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church 8345 Talbert Ave Huntington Beach 92646 . Rudy will be laid to rest at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
