I don't think you ever forget your first love. Somehow I was doing some Internet surfing and came upon this page, apparently two and a half years later. I want to express my deepest condolences to the family. You were loved and you will be missed.

Dutch and I had a great many good times together as friends in high school and beyond. I remember the love that filled the Griffin house whenever I was there. My deepest condolences to the Griffin clan. So sorry that I could not attend. Rest in peace, my good friend. My life was greatly enhanced through knowing you.

I can't believe he's gone. Such a kind & caring person! The world misses him already. May you merit to feel his goodness every day. We are instructed by the Torah, since there might be a feeling of upset that H-d took our loved one to Him, we're told to declare: Blessed is the Truthful Judge!
And we should continue in meritorious deeds of kindness to extend our loved one's spiritual essence in our world.
May G-d count Dutch among the good in whose merit the world will be blessed!

I only knew Dutch through Facebook, but he was such a kind, gentle soul. I enjoyed learning a bit about him, his love of family and rock-and-roll. I was thinking I hadn't seen him lately and thought maybe he'd grown tired of Facebook and all the political discussions. I was shocked and very saddened to hear he had passed away suddenly. My prayers go out to family and friends who had the privilege to personally know Dutch. He will be missed! 💝
